[Introduction]

The CN2100 Async Server is a new generation of multi-serial
solution that provides a common connectivity platform to
connect up to 16 serial ports to existing LAN. This solution allows
async terminals, printers, modems, remote hosts and any other serial
equipments to attach to the LAN.

The CN2100 provides a wide spectrum of network protocols including
TCP/IP, PPP, SLIP, CSLIP, Telnet, Rlogin, SNMP and DNS. To be able to
handle the bulky data traffic, the CN2100 is equipped with high speed
RISC (i960) microprocessor to make perfect performance. High speed
UART and LAN controller are also incorporated to boost the overall
throughput. The result is all 16 ports can be operated at 921.6K bps
simultaneously.

The CN2100 is an ideal solution for sites requiring office automation,
data acquisition and other applications that need multi-serial
connectivity onto the LAN. The CN2100 is perfectly used as terminal
server, printer server and async device server. In addition, the
CN2100 features extensive Security and Accounting Services (RADIUS
protocol) which make it a best Internet Server as well.
