C360 SuperPort System
Distributed Serial Connectivity for Large-Scale Systems

[Introduction]

The Control Board of C360 SuperPort System connects remote
Async Concentrators to provide a distributed multi-serial
communication solution. Each C360 Control Board can support 256 RS-232
ports at most and four C360 Control Boards can be installed in a
single host computer, providing up to 1024 serial communication
channels.

[Application]

The C360 is ideal for multi-user systems, multi-point data
acquisitions, BBS systems, office/factory automation and other
multiple serial I/O applications. Terminals, modems, barcode readers,
plotters, and other asynchronous serial peripherals are all supported.
The C360 is best suited for applications requiring a flexible and
distributed solution to multiport serial communication requirements of
long-distance, high-speed and lots of ports connection.
