BROCHURE C320 Expandable Multiport Controller Flexible Serial Connectivity for Medium Systems [Introduction] The C320 is an expandable intelligent multi-serial communication controller which is available in 8, 16, 24 and 32-port configurations in one PC slot. The C320 complies to the ISA bus and is also compatible with EISA bus. With its 40MHz RISC processor and 512K bytes of RAM, together with the MoxaSoft, a suite of software drivers/tools of MOXA multiport board, the intelligent C320 acts as a front end I/O processor, relieving the workload of the host computer. Four C320 Multiport Controllers can be installed in a single host computer, providing up to 128 serial communication channels. [Application] The C320 is ideal for multiuser systems, multipoint data acquisitions, BBS systems, office and factory automation and other multiple serial I/O applications. Terminals, modems, bar code readers, plotters, and other asynchronous serial peripherals are all supported. The C320 is best suited for applications requiring a flexible solution to high-speed multiport serial communication needs.
