The Intellio C218 Turbo/PCI is the newest generation of MOXA intelligent 8
port async boards for PCI bus system.
The Intellio C218 Turbo/PCI is equipped with high performance RISC processor
(TMS320) and 512KB on-board memory which dramatically relieve the workload
of the host processor. To maximize the
flexibility for system integration, the board is designed in compact size.
Up to four Intellio C218 Turbo/PCI can be installed in one PC system,
providing up to 32 async communication channels.




The Intellio C218 Turbo/PCI is ideal for industrial
automation, machine that needs
embeded multiport connection, multipoint data
acquisition and high speed
Remote Access Services (RAS). Equipment like PLCs,
test instruments,
terminals and high speed modems can be connected to
the Intellio C218
Turbo/PCI via either RS-232, RS-422 or RS-485
interface.
